Email Notification Options
Users can choose what email notifications they receive. Here are the types:

Receive an email notification whenever Riskified declines an order |

Receive an email notification whenever Riskified approves an order following a request to re-review (i.e., update in order details or additional information provided) |

Chargeback and Refunds |
Receive an email notification for every refund and chargeback activity |
Order Issue Handling |
These are the people who are the point-of-contact for order issues. If Riskified needs to update your team about an order, they will send an email to whoever is subscribed to these notifications. Multiple people can be point-of-contacts for this. |
Chargeback Issue Handling

These are the people who are the point-of-contact for chargeback issues. If Riskified needs to update your team about a chargeback, they will send an email to whoever is subscribed to these notifications. Multiple people can be point-of-contacts for this. |
Technical Issue Handling |
These are the people who are the point-of-contact for technical issues. If Riskified needs to update your team about technical issues, they will send an email to whoever is subscribed to these notifications. Multiple people can be point-of-contacts for this. |
Dispute Issue Handling |
These are the people who are the point-of-contact for disputing chargebacks. If Riskified needs to update your team about dispute issues, they will send an email to whoever is subscribed to these notifications. Multiple people can be point-of-contacts for this. Note: This particular notification can only be added on Riskified's end. If you need to add a point-of-contact for disputes, please email support@riskified.com. |
Billing Emails |
These notifications are separate from the email notifications above because the person does not need to have a user account for the Control Center in order to be added. To edit billing emails, see Billing Email Notifications. |
Change Your Own Personal Email Notifications
All users have the ability to change their own email notifications.
- Log into the Control Center.
- Make sure that you are toggled to the store (displayed in the top right corner) that you want to update your email notifications for.
- Click on the user icon in the top right corner.
- Click “Personal Settings”.
- Choose which notifications you would prefer to receive
- Click "Save Changes".
Change Other Users' Email Notifications
Only users with access to Account Settings (by default, this is the "Owner," "Admin," or "Developer" users) are able to change other users' email notifications.
- Log into the Control Center.
- Make sure that you are toggled to the store (displayed in the top right corner) where you need to edit email notifications.
- Click on the Account Settings (gear icon) in the bottom left corner.
- Click on the “Users & Roles” tab.
- Find the relevant user and choose which notifications you want them to receive.
- Click "Save Changes".
Billing Email Notifications
Billing email notifications are completely separate from Riskified's general user/email notification system. You do not need to be a Control Center user in order to receive billing notifications.
Anyone with access to the Billing Settings section of the Control Center can add an email to billing notifications. For instructions, please see Billing Email Notifications.
