API
API integration is our most popular and flexible option for merchants. This solution requires more resources from your Dev team, however it allows you to customize your integration.
Please see our API Integration Guide for more details about the integration process.
Shopify
Shopify integration is a streamlined plug-in option that allows merchants to get up and running quickly. It involves these basic steps:
- Install the Riskified App - This begins the integration process. Most of the ‘heavy lifting’ will be done by our team. However, we will need you to be available for any questions that might arise
- Data Validation - If we have questions about shop flows or encounter data issues, we will reach out to you for clarification, or implement the changes needed
- Applying and Calibrating Models - Once data validation passes, your account is handed over to our analytics team who will be transferring and calibrating the models for the store.
- Going Live! - We set a date for the account to go live with Riskified
Magento
Riskified offers an extension solution for merchants using Magento. This type of integration requires some Dev work on your end, but less than our API integration.
A Magento integration includes two core components:
- Riskified Magento Extension: Shares order data with Riskified, including user behavior and session data.
- Notification Endpoint: Receives Riskified’s order decisions and enables automated post-checkout workflows.
The integration process consists of:
- Sandbox installation and configuration
- Order data validation and order flow testing
- Production deployment
- Shadow Mode (real-time data without decisions)
- Account setup and activation
Agentforce Commerce (SFCC)
Agentforce Commerce (formerly Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFCC) fraud protection cartridge provides a structured integration process tailored to SFCC’s platform architecture. The integration is completed through development and validation in both sandbox and production environments. After technical implementation is finished, the account can be configured and finalized for full operation.
Plaid
Plaid is a financial services platform that enables consumers to seamlessly connect their bank accounts to merchant applications. For merchants who accept ACH payments, Plaid is a common platform to authenticate customers’ account details and so Riskified has partnered with Plaid to use account data as part of our fraud decisioning. Read more about Plaid here.
VTEX
Riskified’s VTEX integration provides a streamlined approach to connecting your VTEX storefront with Riskified’s fraud prevention services. The process typically includes account activation, configuration of order flows, and validation in both sandbox and production environments. Since implementation details may vary depending on your VTEX setup, our team will guide you through the required steps.
CommerceTools
Riskified’s CommerceTools integration supports flexible, API-driven commerce architectures. Our team will work with you to configure events, map order lifecycles, and validate end-to-end flows in your sandbox and production environments. Integration requirements may differ based on your unique implementation and commerce modules.
SAP Commerce (Hybris)
Riskified’s SAP Commerce (Hybris) integration enables enterprise merchants to connect order and checkout workflows to Riskified’s fraud review system. Once your account is activated, our team provides guidance on configuring extensions, event triggers, and production validation steps. Because SAP Commerce environments can be highly customized, implementation support is tailored to your specific setup.
